You work on all legal matters of Hendrix Genetics and its subsidiaries and assist the Risk, Ethics & Compliance Officer in the roll out of the Compliance and Insurance program in the group of companies. 

Responsibilities

• Preparing, drafting and reviewing various contracts between Hendrix Genetics companies and its clients, suppliers, business partners, etc.
• Providing legal advice and assistance in various areas including but not limited to commercial, R&D, IT, corporate, insurance and compliance
• Following up on legal administration and overseeing the statutory formalities in relation to the company’s various legal entities
• Co-development of, and analyzing and setting legal policies and procedures within the scope of the organization
• Manage the recording and processing of claims made against the company and its affiliates.
• Assist with the continued embedding of Risk Management across all Hendrix Genetics companies in order that the potential for losses is reduced and decision making is improved by being made aware of problem areas.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals
• Advise on the internal restructurings of the company in order to optimize corporate structure of the group of companies.
• Create legal awareness throughout the group of companies by means of trainings, e-learnings, classroom sessions

• Master Degree in corporate/commercial Law (EU)
• At least 7-8 years of professional legal experience in an international environment
• Experience in M&A processes
• Knowledge of and keep track of new (international) legislation
• Affinity with corporate, (commercial) contracts, tax, IPR law, GDPR
• A team player but at the same time work independently 
• Fluent in English (speaking & writing)
