As the breeding and production manager, you will be responsible for the management and production in the shrimp breeding program for Hendrix Genetics Thailand. You will closely liaise with geneticists and hatchery staff to guarantee efficient and maximized genetic progress in nucleus and that production targets are met. 

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in aquaculture
• Experience: Up to 7 years of relevant working experience in the field of aquaculture or animal breeding production.
• Knowledge needed: Knowledge of aquaculture and industry.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Thai

• Management of the nucleus phases, and commercial stocks until maturation phase, including biosecurity, husbandry of stocks, and specific breeding program activities.
• Ensure execution of optimal matings and data recording. Ensure quality and completeness of datasets and transfer of data to geneticists
• Manage production staff, and support in controlling financial budgets, in close collaboration with HG Thailand Ops Manager, controller.
• Reporting on production KPIs related to the breeding program and commercial performance.
• Co-develop the breeding program in close liaison with HG Thailand staff and BU Shrimp R&D team.
• Contribution to research projects.
• Assistance in general operations of the breeding stocks in HG Thailand, support to HG Thailand sales and technical support teams, and when needed in other programs from Hendrix Genetics.
