Mission

Your Role

The Placement Quality Specialist plays an integral role in strengthening quality efforts, customer success, and product performance by serving as a critical feedback link between field results and internal operations. Through expert technical support, practical guidance, and proactive service throughout the placement and early grow-out period, with a primary focus on the first six weeks of production, this role helps ensure we understand how Hybrid’s products perform in real customer environments. Supporting both external independent producers and internal farms and hatcheries, the Placement Quality Specialist applies deep knowledge of bird development, product performance, customer production systems, data analysis, and cost considerations to identify trends, resolve challenges, and improve flock outcomes. By capturing field observations, customer feedback, performance data, and early indicators of product success or concern, this role helps bring valuable insight back to internal teams so we can assess our own processes, strengthen quality practices, and continuously improve the final results delivered to customers. Success in this role requires strong critical thinking, effective problem solving, clear communication, and the ability to translate technical insight into practical, value-added recommendations for customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Attend assigned placements to observe flock performance at placement, mitigate any issues and document and provide feedback to internal stakeholders on quality metrics

  • Regularly visit and work with internal operational teams in breeders, hatchery and transport to understand our SOP’s and the link to product quality and performance in the field
  • Travel between customers and internal operations accounts for 80-90% of time

  • Collaborate with the Field Performance Specialist to investigate root causes of issues identified later in flock life.

  • Provide the commercial team with proactive recommendations for monitoring and flock follow-up after five weeks of age.

  • Document and share critical summaries and action items for all visits using CRM and related internal systems.

  • Collaborate with internal colleagues by using field insights to support ongoing improvements in product quality, internal operations, and customer outcomes.

  • Build strong customer and grower relationships through regular farm visits, responsive follow-up, and solutions-focused support.

  • Identify challenges and opportunities based on product performance during the first five weeks for both growers and internal teams supplying the birds.

  • Provide clear feedback to internal operations on bird quality, field observations, customer experience, and placement outcomes.

  • Support additional hands-on projects, field activities, and cross-functional initiatives as required. Provide high-level, expert technical service to assigned customers to optimize product performance and support continuous improvement
